Thanks for what you're doing here. I'm on this site in a blazing search to adapt this machine from Vista to FC7. So far, it's up but buggy. There are common problems with this adaptation, as evidenced by any google search for the following:
Jun 10 19:26:00 whippoorwill kernel: irq 7: nobody cared (try booting with the "irqpoll" option)
pci bug #81[00000000] found

Try recompiling your kernel and under the pci access mode option choose direct instead of any.
btw, the direct access kernel compile made no difference: the system still locks up. The only cure is to pass the boot kernel parameter acpi=off.
