DELL: Inspiron 9400

Soundcard has both an LFE and a Master channel - great sound only results from controlling both in tandem.  Using only master produces tinny sound, and using only LFE produces satanic fuzz.  Unfortunately, most volume control schemes don't address controlling multiple channels at once.  Worse, the ones that do (GNOME's, for example) don't do it correctly - the sound will change randomly.  Use alsamixer, or alias shortcut keys to a bash script that uses amixer to change both volumes at once.

80864222 (Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection) works fine with the official Intel drivers...
For the 11800822 (R5C822 SD/SDIO/MMC/MS/MSPro Host Adapter) I've loaded the module, but it still not working... It doesn't create de device in the /dev folder

ati mobility radeon x1400 and fglrx drivers never seem to work out. Ati's drivers are a headache.

Hi.
The Windows key, very useful to run the terminal, doesn't work.
The ATI Mobility Radeon x1400 barely works from Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, forget about any 3D graphics.
The rest works fine. (2009-12-23 00:01:07)
