Using Ubuntu 8.10,kernel 2.6.27 have the AverTV hybrid+FM 16D, it is recognised but can not get it to scan for channels using either Myth or TVtime. Not sue how to get the xc2028 firmware as instruction given on web so far a not very helpful to a newbie. Information so far is not very helpful when trying to get hardware to work, even though there are reports that it does. Also had to install a network card to get updates/upgrade before nVIDIA drivers could load , after that only issue is the TV card
