Atheros Ethernet does not work with some distros. I believe support was simply added too recently and some distros are lagging too far behind on their kernel version. Mint Debian and any Ubuntu 11.04+ based distros work flawlessly.
Everything else works.
Gives decent amount of temperature data as well with lm-sensors.
